Keith Turner and Sons organise and supply
many of the large funfairs in the North East of England.
As the corporate company also incorporates
Imperial Amusements, Spanish City Funfairs and also
retains and trades under the name of Spanish City.
We are a long established showmen's family and have been delighting the general public for well over 200 years, spanning nine generations.
Keith Turner and Sons were the operators of the Spanish City (fun park) at Whitley Bay from 1994 until it's closure. This major attraction was founded in 1910 and became a well known landmark, both in the local area and nationally. Upon it's closure the council officers of Whitley Bay acknowledged the important role of the fairground and decided to institute a traveling fair on The Links to compensate for the loss of Spanish City. It is a matter of great pride to us that they turned to Keith Turner & Sons to provide this amenity on their behalf, recognising our professionalism and commitment.
We are proud to be members of the Showmen's Guild of Great Britain,
the governing body of the traveling showman. Keith Turner has had the
honour of serving the Showmen's Guild as chairman. We are also
members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Cramlington branch of
the Round Table for which Keith Turner has also had
the honour of being the President.
